The cathedral of Palma de Majorca from the Bellver Castle

The Cathedral of Majorca is the largest religious building in the island of Majorca. It is known as La Seu
(Seu or seo was the name given to the cathedral in the former Crown of Aragon). It is a Levantine Gothic
church built at the edge of the bay of Palma. It overlooks the sea on the Roman and Renaissance walls that
protected the city, and it is the only Gothic cathedral that meets it. Ahead of it we can see the Palace
of the Almudaina
and the port in the bay, while beyond in the the left is the church of Santa Eulalia.
